EVwhere
EVwhere is an Airbnb-like solution for solving the range anxiety around electric vehicle(EV) and boosting the adoption of EV. The solution was created for the Kellogg Design Challenge(KDC) 2023 sponsored by Nissan and the challenge they proposed: “Nissan Ambition 2030”. It earned runner-up in the competition.
My Contributions
During the research phase, I mainly worked as a UX researcher by doing secondary research with a focus on the market of China and interviewing 3 out of the 9 participants. During the prototyping phase, I worked closely with another designer. I was responsible for designing the interface and user flow of the EV drivers, which included the design of the in-car infotainment system and the mobile app interface for driver.
Outcomes
The final solution was highly appreciated by the judges of KDC especially representatives of Nissan. Among 12 teams from business schools across the U.S. in the final, we earned a runner-up in this one of the biggest business design competition.
