A Glove of Gloves

Latex gloves, iron wire

A Glove of Gloves was inspired by my experience of doing experiments with latex gloves. As a biology-majored student, latex glove is both the best and most annoying partner. It is always needed in most - if not all - of the lab. It protects me from corrosive and poisonous chemicals. However, at the same time it can hinder the movement of my hands and make it hard to equipment and experiment operation.
Many blowed-up latex gloves were glued onto a huge skeleton that was in the shape of a hand. This huge “glove” formed by the skeleton and gloves could be wore on my hand as I put my fingers through the rings on the skeleton. The frustrating process of putting it on and its weighty nature is an exact expression of my feeling of wearing the gloves in lab. At the same time, it implies the weight of sweat taken in scientific researches.
